Stubby’s Heroes has the best time educating as to why Breed Specific Legislation does not work; educating about what a great breed the Bully breed is; and building local partnerships within the community. Here, our Outreach Coordinator, Hilary, is having fun in East Atlanta Village AND inviting everyone to the First Atlanta Bully Breed March. It so happened to be a huge event that was wildly successful and will become an Atlanta tradition!

Bully breed dogs were not the only dogs to march in Atlanta’s First Bully Breed March, organized by Stubby’s Heroes. These small dogs marched right along and showed no fear or hesitation when marching! We loved them!!!

Brandon Rudat is a huge Pit Bull advocate. Here he sits with Founder of Shelter Angels Pit Bull Rescue, signing photographs of himself with all proceeds going towards her rescue for the rescue dogs in her program. Brandon modeled for the Shelter Angels Pit Bull Rescue 2013 calendar and we thank him for not only marching in Atlanta’s First Bully Breed March, organized by my group Stubby’s Heroes, but for opening up the event and telling the community of caretakers and advocates that he will fight BSL with us! Advocate and friend posted a flyer on her back to show her support for Sprinkles, a dog in Fulton County Animal Services that needed help. This photo was taken at Atlanta’s First Bully Breed March held in Oct 2012, at Piedmont Park. My group, Stubby’s Heroes, organized the event. I’m happy to report that shortly thereafter, Sprinkles was saved by Atlanta Bully Rescue and is on her foster home where she is waiting to be adopted and living with resident dogs.
